We have added more information on collecting minerals.  Learn why it is important to keep your minerals safe and how to organize your collection.  All of this info and a free set of mineral labels can be found under the guide to collecting.

In addition, we have also added information about a famous mineralogist who’s work on the physical properties of minerals is used by mineralogists and mineral collectors to this day.  Do you know this man?
