The Ladder Tour

Candlelight Tour
Explore the natural wonders of Colossal Cave by candlelight.  

The Wild Cave Tour
If you’re feeling really strong, you can make reservations for a Wild Cave Tour! You and your guides will follow the footsteps of early explorers through unlit, unmarked, and rarely seen passageways that extend a quarter mile into the depths of the earth.

While taking a tour of the Colossal Cave, your guide will relate the Cave's history, legends, and geology. 

While at Colossal Cave and Mountain Park, you can partake in many other activities as well:

The Discovery Tour -
A fun game for kids.  The Discovery Tour will have you exploring the park and when you've completed the game, you will win a treasure!

Trail Rides at Colossal CaveTrail Rides
Saddle up! Leisurely guided Western trail rides go out daily from La Posta Quemada Ranch facility in Colossal Cave Mountain Park.   Hay rides and stagecoach rides are also available by reservation.

The Sluice - Pan for Gemstones
Great fun for both kids and adults.  Pan for treasure in the gemstone sluice! Recalling a Western tradition of panning for gold, this replica mining sluice gives you the opportunity to pan for real gemstones, fossils, or arrowheads!  A hidden treasure is just waiting to be found.

The Butterfly Garden
The Butterfly Garden at Colossal Cave Mountain Park is carefully designed to provide for the full life cycle of butterflies.  A haven for butterflies, it is also a place of rest, entertainment, and education for the human guests that visit! The plants are all native varieties.
