If you come the the farm in the evening, a special event that is fun for kids and adults alike is the S’mores roast at the Fire Pit. Who doesn’t love a hot gooey S’mores?

The Anderson Family are very dedicated to their community and enjoy teaching children about the farm and agriculture. As part of the many activities at the farm, they offer educational field trips for students.
Also, while visiting Anderson Farms, stop by Pumpkin Creek Gemstone Mining for some old fashioned fun. Colorado, has a rich history of coal mining.
At the Anderson Farm, you can mine for gemstones and fossils. Try to collect them all! Each bag of rough is guaranteed to have a find. Gemstone Panning is a fun and exiting activity for all ages. Participants may find up to 11 ounces of gemstones and fossils in a single bag. This is a great afternoon family activity.
If you need a place to hold a big event, The Anderson farm rents out their Party Barn for special occasions. Whether it’s a company picnics, award banquets, holiday party, family reunions, or weddings reception, the Anderson’s have the facility to make your next party a success.
